Vincent K. Her

Vincent K. Her is a Hmong American anthropologist whose work examines identity, ritual, and generational change among Hmong Americans. He is particularly interested in what a community becomes once the refugee chapter is no longer its most recent event, and in how people raised entirely in the United States, by parents who were not, work out their obligations to clan, ceremony, and family memory.
