Mai Na M. Lee

Mai Na M. Lee is a Hmong American historian and associate professor of history at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Dreams of the Hmong Kingdom, her study of Hmong political leadership under French colonial rule, grew from oral interviews with Hmong elders alongside French archival sources, and it stands as a foundational monograph in Hmong Studies.
