Dia Cha

Dia Cha was born in Laos and came to the United States as a refugee after the Secret War. An anthropologist, she became a professor at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota and wrote about Hmong culture for scholarly and young audiences alike; Dia's Story Cloth narrates her own family's journey through the story cloth her aunt and uncle stitched in a refugee camp.
