Thomas S. Vang

Thomas S. Vang is a Hmong American author who wrote what he describes as the first comprehensive Hmong history by a member of the Hmong people, covering the earliest Hmong and Miao civilizations in China through the migrations south and into the modern diaspora. Self-published, it reflects a long-standing frustration that the community's history had been written almost entirely by outsiders.
