Nora Murphy

Nora Murphy is an American writer and archivist who has written for young readers about immigrant and refugee families in Minnesota, including the Hmong. Her approach is to attach history to a single family rather than present it as a sequence of dates, which is what has kept her work in classroom use for decades. She has also written on Minnesota history and archival practice for adult readers.
