Studies
Cathleen Jo Faruque is an American professor of sociology and social work at Winona State University whose research examined how multi-generational Hmong refugee families from Laos, China, Vietnam, and Thailand adapted to life in Rochester, Minnesota. Her work is oriented toward social-work practice, addressing the professionals who encounter these families in caseloads rather than in seminars.
