Hmong books, one shelf
HmongBookstore

American Bible Society

The American Bible Society, founded in 1816, translates and distributes scripture and has published Hmong-language editions since the 1970s, when missionary linguists working in Laos and Thailand completed the first full translations. Its Hmong Bibles are relevant to this catalog for a reason beyond religion: they were among the earliest large bodies of prose set in the Romanized Popular Alphabet, and for many Hmong readers a Bible was the first substantial book they encountered in their own language.
